Famous Hispanic Americans Matching/Research Activity

The document below is intended to accompany time for students to look up the people on the internet, in research books, etc. On the back, you can have the students choose a person from the lists and write a summary of the person's life.

Who am I?

Make slips of paper with names of famous Hispanics the students have studied and tape one to the back of each student. The students wander the room, asking yes/no questions of other students (like, "Am I a man?" or "Am I a painter?") to try and figure out who they are within the time determined by the teacher. Students may need to brainstorm good questions with the teacher before starting, and should only ask one question of each other student they choose to converse with.

Note: You could also do this activity with animals.
